Every lunch we send out is built around current school nutrition guidelines — the right balance of protein, whole grains, sodium limits, fruits, and vegetables. But we didn't design our menu around a compliance checklist. We designed it around what kids actually eat.

Picky eaters are our specialty. Between our two families, we've field-tested every item on this menu at our own dinner tables — if our kids rejected it, it didn't make the cut.

Absolutely. We cook for our own kids every day, so we know from experience which meals actually get eaten. Italian and Chinese dishes are consistently the biggest hits — voted by our kids at home, then tested on the kids we serve.
Our weekly rotation includes everything from pasta and cheeseburgers to Teriyaki chicken, Singapore noodles, and cheese tamales. There's enough variety that even the pickiest eaters find something they'll ask for again.
